We are an in home licensed child care facility with a preschool program, with many activities and projects that are presented in English & Spanish. Our goal is to have children ready for kindergarten; embracing social, emotional and intellectual skills. With 20 years of experience of providing childcare for our community, we incorporate many different philosophies into our program (see below)!
At Little Shapes Preschool, we use Creative Curriculum, Zoo-Phonics, Strong STEM exposure, loose-parts philosophy, intentional dramatic play areas (set up for extended play with a purpose), as well as many other philosophies!
Our goal is to provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for all children, where they can learn and explore while they play. We feel very proud and honored to contribute to their progressive, healthy development through our active learning program, that promotes their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. With the understanding that childhood is a journey not a race, being sensitive to each child's learning needs, we strive to provide a positive guidance, building a strong relationship with these little people, that helps develop self-confidence, self-worth and self-esteem.
